What is Reiki

Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing.

The term “reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy that flows through all living things.

Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands on or just above different areas of the body. It’s based on Eastern medicine that living beings have energy fields that support their health and vitality.

According to belief, when there is energy blocks within the body, it interferes with the natural flow of energy, causing health problems, negative life circumstances like financial troubles or relationship issues. Energy blocks for any living being can be treated, which is why some practitioners also work on animals. Reiki practitioners intuitively focus on sensing the energy blocks and move the energy for the greatest good of the client.

Mikao Usui developed reiki in the early 1900s and is used all over the world and is now introduced into some hospitals and hospices, to complement other forms of health treatments.

Reiki aids in healing people by helping them to become energetically balanced in mind, body and soul.

Reiki is Amazing

Reiki in my mind is amazing so why wouldn't I want to share my own amazing Reiki experience, I love that this power is universal, and anybody can learn it and if I felt empowered after my sessions then why not learn it, use it and share it with others.  My husband was a skeptic at first but will tell you that even he enjoys his reiki sessions.  My room has been specifically created for my clients in mind and brings great relaxation to anyone that walks in there.  I want only the best for you, and I want you to leave my room feeling relaxed from head to toe and your mind, body and soul to feel enlivened once again.

For your Peace of Mind, I have completed a Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki Masters course.  I enjoy learning and incorporating other modalities into my learning repertoire.  I love learning from other like-minded people and seeing others perspective on Reiki.  I also enjoy reading anything about the Anatomy, as I believe knowledge is key while doing energy work.

Life can be draining, our energy constantly depleted, we feel lost, no purpose and our mind, body and soul suffers.  We then are left with questions or questioning who we are, what we are doing or where we are going.  Often running away to find something to fulfil us temporarily, for only that to, to eventually turn into disappointment. I often refer to humans being like onions, we have to peel away each layer, and with that, each layer reveals something new about us.  Depending on how deep our conditioning or ingrained thought patterns and belief system runs, we must take it step by step, day by day and allow our healing to integrate into us.  It may take a little time, but I personally believe it is worth it from my own experience.  As the saying goes, you first have to learn how to crawl before you can walk. See this journey as a slow and steady walk, as you peel back more layers of yourself.

If you return for Reiki or not, remember this is your journey and your story.  What will your story called 'Life' be?  Remember, you are the Writer, the Editor, the Publisher, make your story matter.  Don't let life be to merely exist and survive.
